Procurement turns design decisions into approved purchasing requirements. In fit-out, it coordinates finishes, building services equipment and furniture, from specifications and samples through to site delivery.
01The procurement specification
Identify each item’s use, quantity, dimensions, colour, finish and required performance. Check completeness, compatibility with adjacent products and manufacturer documentation.
Link items to drawings and schedules. Changes to layouts, areas or services must be reflected in the current specification, not just in correspondence.
02Samples and substitutions
Review samples under lighting and alongside finishes representative of the completed space. A full-size mock-up can help resolve complex junctions.
Substitutions are assessed across all relevant properties. A similar colour or price does not establish equivalent durability, acoustic performance, fire characteristics or maintenance requirements.
03Delivery and site readiness
Align procurement with construction sequencing and manufacturing lead times. Before ordering, confirm dimensions, quantities, delivery, unloading and storage conditions. Imported items also require logistics planning and appropriate documentation.
At delivery, check identification, quantities, completeness and packaging condition. Quality inspection and damage procedures should be defined in the supply terms.
04Materials and solutions in ETAZHY projects
Our project procurement includes WEISS access floors, Caesar porcelain tiles, MIGUA movement joints, GESSI sanitary fittings and Vorwerk flooring. Product selection follows the project requirements and approved specifications.
Furniture and finishes are coordinated with planning, cable infrastructure and service access, particularly in offices with adaptable working areas.
